Kearny Mesa
Kearny Mesa is a commercial and industrial area centrally located in San Diego. It’s named after the former Camp Kearny. This was a US military base from 1917 to 1946. Urbanization then started taking place later, and businesses started taking shape.
Some of the local businesses here include restaurants and supermarkets ( primarily American and Asian), and Autosales.
The place is situated between Tierra Santa and Clairemont to the east and west. It's located between Sierra Mesa and Miramar to the south and north. Topographically, it takes a triangular shape.
Since it’s a cosmopolitan area, there exists diversity, and it welcomes people from all corners of the world. It is also a growing community with a promising future.
Kearney Mesa is full of coffee shops, craft businesses, chain stores, small businesses, and restaurants, giving it the urban feeling. Most residents also rent their homes.
